We are so committed to stringent quality control that we offer bespoke, long term inspection and maintenance agreements, covering inspections and repair or replacement. As part of our bespoke maintenance agreements, our skilled technicians conduct regular and detailed surveys to ensure that any fault or damage is located at the earliest possible stage and that appropriate action is taken. This service results in operational cost savings by reducing major repairs, increasing plant life and reducing mains losses. An added benefit is that both operator and consumer do not have to endure unexpected shut-downs. Surveys are comprised of:
- Visual: Accessible parts of the system are examined, i.e. valve pits, entry points etc.
- Remote: Inaccessible and buried pipework is examined using thermographic techniques.
- Location: Once a fault is found it is marked and numbered at ground level.
- Recording: An infra-red heat picture or thermogram is taken for reference and analysis.
Once a survey has been carried out a report is submitted to the client giving a full description of any faults found together with their precise location and categorization of severity. The report will recommend the most cost effective method of action for each fault located and, once this has been approved by the client, we carry out repairs, inclusive of all civil works. Operator requirements and mains systems vary widely and all our maintenance agreements are designed to satisfy the specific needs of each of our clients.
